A page for yourself / An optional practice

A few words about where you are.

Journal prompts for a change, a difficult stretch, or something you are beginning to understand. Start anywhere.

An invitation to try

“What would I like to put into words today?”

You do not need to know your stage.

Sometimes writing helps you notice something. Sometimes it does not. These prompts borrow the shape of a journey without assigning you a stage or telling you what your experience means.

Choose one question, change it, or leave the page blank. A few words, a drawing, or a private voice note can be enough. This page does not record or save your answers.

When something asks for attention.

  • What keeps coming to mind?
  • What feels different, or no longer fits?
  • What would I like more room for?
  • What do I want to keep, even if something changes?

A change does not have to be dramatic to matter. You can be uncertain about what you want.

Before taking a step.

  • What am I considering, in my own words?
  • What practical constraints or risks deserve attention?
  • Whose perspective or help would be useful?
  • Is there a small, reversible way to learn more?

A reason to wait is not automatically an excuse. Staying, pausing, asking for help, or deciding against a change can be considered choices.

In a difficult stretch.

  • What is hard right now, without minimizing it?
  • What is mine to choose—and what is outside my control?
  • What support, rest, or practical change might help?
  • What would I prefer not to explore today?

You do not have to find a lesson in pain, call it a gift, or make a difficult experience into a better story.

When you look back.

  • What happened, compared with what I expected?
  • What do I understand differently, if anything?
  • What did someone else say mattered to them?
  • What would I keep, change, or stop doing?

There may be no tidy ending. Another person may understand the same event differently.

If you want to keep going

Begin with your own words.

The optional reflection brings together what you write. It does not send it to a coach or save it to an account.
